Humans!!! 2 - SEA FOOD.

WHAT DO YOU GET?

The game comes in a small box and inside you'll find:
1) 16 tiles (the naval base)
2) A new zombie card (Naval Officer) + 10 plastic figures
3) 16 new cards (8 different cards x 2)

The new tiles
These tiles represent a naval base, with buildings like "Barracks" and "Medical Center". Five of them must be placed at the table from the beggining - an island, two ships (where the zombies now begin) and two piers. You don't mix the new tiles with the old ones - only when you draw the "Front gate" you begin to place the tiles from H! on the map.

Most of the tiles from H!2 have some building in it, so the supply for fresh meat is high. In fact it's easily possible to play the entire game without leaving the naval base! Besides that there's not too much to add - the tiles are of high quality and very similar to the original ones.

- The new zombie
The naval officer is a great addition to the game. The plastic figure is amazing (altough the base is too small and it keeps falling; besides the figure itself is smaller than the humans) and the zombie is very good but not too powerful. The special power is one of the best (you can ignore a Escape card once) and this zombie has the lowest "taking wounds" of the game (2, as the Doctor). The low side is that he also shares with the Doctor the "10 points" objective.

- The new cards
You get 2 x 8 new cards. Similar to the base ones they are funny with great drawings. But none of them is a weapon - if you add them to the original deck the chances you have of finding a weapon will decrease... and this makes the game faster (altough if you really enjoy playing weapons against your enemies you will think that some new ones wouldn't be too much to ask). Three of the new cards refer to places you find inside the naval base. If you remove them from the deck (and of course the new tiles) you can play the game as before, without the naval base, beggining in the town square, but with the Naval Officer and the remaining 5 new cards.

- Details
There's a new rule in town: remember the Do Over tokens? You can discard one of them to reroll a dice. Now if you, let's say, get a 2 and fail, and by chance has a Do Over with two pips on it, you can discard it to an automatic sucess. I think it was a nice idea.

But I believe the game has a misprint : your zombies will begin in the "Destroyer" or in the "Supply ship". Both of the tiles have a "D-3" - it means you must place three Do Over tokens on them. If this is so, the first player would surely get all of these Do Overs... to me it seems just wrong. To avoid giving so much to the first player, I consider both card have a "D-0". (Maybe this would make sense if you begin in the "Town Square" and then enter the naval base when the "Front Gate" card shows up - the other way around...)
